About the Event
Calling all creative writers and creative-writers-to-be! Join us for our Virtual Storytime and Writing Workshop 2-Part Series: Mae Among the Stars. This series focus will explore the role of antagonists in short stories or picture books. We will first consider the role of the antagonists Mae encounters in Mae Among the Stars; to then consider the antagonists we encounter in the real world. We will then, use the space of short stories to imagine how we might speak back to and defeat those antegonists in real life. This session will be led by college professor and The blackgirlPOD Leader Dr. Heather Hill (check out her bio in the About Us section of the website).
Sessions are live, and will occur:
Wednesday, March 16th and 30th from 6-6:45pm. Participation in both sessions is encouraged, although not required.
All interactions will be mediated online, via Zoom. Sessions will be designed for girls…
