About the Event
Program Overview
This two-week camp offers an immersive full-day experience where girls engage in practical lessons on aerodynamics and block coding to control programmable drones. Participants will gain valuable STEM content knowledge, exploring concepts such as physics, engineering principles, and computer programming. Throughout the camp, they will also learn about the expanding drone industry through the inspiring stories and perspectives of Black women in STEM, fostering a deeper understanding of the field and its opportunities.
Daily Schedule
The camp runs from morning to afternoon, 9:30am-3:30pm divided into two engaging sessions:

Interactive sessions with books that emphasize STEM concepts, providing foundational knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
