About the Event
Kids, bring your favorite adult as we dive into the basics of coding and programming, learn more about NASA's Mars helicopter Ingenuity, and rocket scientist Annie Easley. On Saturday, August 14th from 2-4pm, Ms. Nia Turner will lead the girls in hands-on activities to build awareness of NASA and space travel to Mars, while also highlighting the life and legacy of Annie Easley. The workshop will be held in the Nelson/Brody room of the Cleveland Heights Library- Lee Road Branch. Materials will be provided.
Since the workshop will be held from 2-4pm, families are encouraged to bring a snack for their child to consume during the 10-15 minute break.
We're excited to have this coding workshop provided to the girls in The POD. Spaces are limited. Please RSVP by Thursday, August 12th at 12pm (noon) to ensure your spot and supplies are reserved.
